Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy
Class registrations can be cancelled with a 100% refund until 14 days before the class, and with a 50% refund between 7-13 days before the class. After that, class fees are non-refundable but you can transfer your registration slot to another person. To cancel, reply to your registration email or use the contact form on this website. This policy is modified for mask mandatory classes as detailed below.
Code of Conduct
There is no tolerance for racism, sexism, transphobia, or other reactionary ideologies or speech in the classroom. This includes “jokes” and any other expression of these ideas. If you violate this policy, you may receive one warning at the instructor’s discretion, or you may be ejected from the class with no refund.
Ammunition & Range Fees
Ammunition for the range and range fees are not included in your course fees unless stated otherwise in the class description, and will add approximately $50 to your total cost. We will have eye and ear protection for your use free of charge. Ammunition is available for purchase at the range, or let us know ahead of time and we can provide ammunition at cost.
If the full price of taking this class would create hardship for you in affording your necessities, please reach out via the contact form to discuss options for taking the course at reduced or eliminated cost. This is enabled by other students who choose to pay extra to sponsor those unable to pay.
Hardship Policy
Mask Policy (for designated mask-mandatory classes)
For classes marked “mask mandatory,” an N95 mask or equivalent is required, with a good seal around the mouth/nose and loops that go around the back of the head (not the ears). The instructor will have spare masks available day of class, but please let us know ahead of time if you will need one so we can make sure we have the right size/number of masks.
These classes are intended to be safe for immunocompromised individuals, and so we strictly enforce the policy at all times in the classroom and range. This means that for eating/drinking you need to leave the classroom rather than pulling your mask to the side.
If you are sick, exhibiting symptoms of being sick, or have recently been around sick people (last 5 days), please do not come to class. If you exhibit symptoms during class you will be asked to leave. For these classes, you can reschedule for a future class at no cost if you let the instructor know you can’t make it due to sickness before the start of class time.
